- Non Conventional
The conscious development of Unconventionals in Argentina began in mid-2010, and since then more than 2,000 wells have been drilled in different areas of the Neuquén basin, with that objective.
Since 2013, GiGa Consulting has produced a Statistical Report on Unconventional Production that is updated quarterly. The reports include Shale activity in Vaca Muerta and Tight in the Neuquén Basin and Austral Basin. The report shows the activity, drilling times, production behavior, initial flows, final recoveries, zone maps and general well statistics, as well as the impact of the learning curve on productivity.
This report will allow the reader to have a Shale activity map made so far, see the results of the wells, characterize different concession areas and productive behavior. It can also be compared with the evolution of other analog plays. (Contains 80 pages and about 100 tables and figures)
- Databases
Certain information on Wells, Production, Concession Areas, Well Status and other references is public information that is available in the different government entities. However, if you want to carry out analysis with this information, you must have time and resources to put together a database structure that allows you to consolidate all this information.
Different databases are available in Sahara® format with information on:
- Area borders and location lines
- Well location: Coordinates, depth and datum.
- Production by area, province, operator or by well (since 2006)
- Accumulated production per well
- Allocation of production by productive formations
- Well attributes (Well status, Extractive system, Operator, classification, Resource type, etc.)
- Participation of companies by concession areas
- Other references such as seismic traces or eventually pipelines or facilities
